PANAMA CASA RENTAL POLICIES
 
A- RESERVATIONS AND DAMAGES DEPOSIT
The damage/reservations deposit of US$300.00 is for your weekly or monthly reservations, and it is required to book and guarantee reservations. The damage/reservations deposits are refundable within 30 days after check out, if everything in the apartment is in order according with the initial inventory and inspection.
* The reservation and damage deposit has a double function; to book and guarantee your reservations and serve as a damage deposit returned after final apartment checkout. This is separate from rent paid.

B- RATES
Rates are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until deposit is received. Your reservation is guaranteed upon receipt of the damage/reservations deposits and a confirmation letter has been sent.

C- CANCELLATION/CHANGES
Cancellations or changes notice must given 30 days prior to arrival; cancellations or changes done after these 30 days give us the right to keep the deposit as indemnification.

D- ADITIONAL FEES
  • Pet Fee: There is an extra fee of US$150.00 which is nonrefundable for having pets at the apartment.
  • Smokers Fee: There is an extra non refundable fee of US$300.00 for smoking, and it is nonrefundable.
E- UTILITIES
Panama Casa will pay basic utilities such as:
  • Maintenance Fee
  • Hydro
  • Internet
  • Cable TV
The Electrical charges will be as follows:
  • One Bedroom: Panama Casa pays up to US$200.00 per month, client will pay balance.
  • Two Bedroom: Panama Casa pays up to US$250.00 per month, client will pay balance.
  • Three Bedroom: Panama Casa pays up to US$300 – US$350.00 per month, client will pay balance.
The meter reading will be taken at move in. Electrical rates in Panamá are 17 cents per kilowatt hr.

F- TENANTS ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENTS
  • One Bedroom: 3 people maximum
  • Two Bedroom: 5 people maximum
  • Three Bedroom: 6 people maximum
G- CLEANING
The cleaning day of the apartment is pre-scheduled; please check with the office to find out your cleaning day. The cleaning day is once per week and may not be re-scheduled without previous notice. This cleaning does not include cleaning of personal items. Extra cleaning days will have a charge of US$20.00 per cleaning and the day will be schedule based on your needs and cleaning staff availability. The maids will be allowed to enter to the unit at least twice per month.

H- DAMAGE AND LIABILITY
Panama Casa endeavors to keep the premises safe, clean and in good repair and therefore reserves the right to charge guest for items missing or damaged. The below is a list are some things considered to be damages, this list is not inclusive of all things considered to be damages:
  • Sheets stained, broken or lost
  • Curtains stained, broken or lost
  • Walls extremely dirty or scratched
  • Towels stained, broken or lost
  • Furniture broken, cracked or stained
  • Damage to electrical appliances
  • Door cracked, scratched or damaged
  • Lamps broken or lost
  • Dishes broken, damaged or stained
  • Loss of any item listed in the inventory
  • Any other damage that is not listed in the initial inventory
  • Smokers, residual odor or stains
  • Pet odor, damage, dirt or hair
Panama Casa will not refund the $600 damage/reservations deposit if the clients omit additional information, such as having pets or being smokers.

When you make reservations you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company Panama Casa and the owners, staff and associates of Panama Casa for damages or injuries incurred by you or other guests misuse, wrongdoing or impaired physical abilities on or around the premises.

Remember that pets will be considered, please ask when booking.

I- HOLIDAYS
Panama Casa will announce changes for the cleaning calendar on Holidays. We do observe all holidays for all of our staff.
